    • Isn’t that the truth! There’s a highway corner right next to our local Sutherland’s (don’t know if you have them there) that is blanketed with bluebonnets right now. It’s within walking distance, but I think I’ll hop in the car tomorrow and go get a few pictures of them.

    • They’re beautiful along the roadsides, but when seen in a huge open field they’re simply breathtaking. After trying futilely to grow bluebonnets from seed I finally bought some plants earlier this spring. Hopefully they’re in the right spot and will continue to come back each year.
