I had to look that one up — it’s really beautiful and I can see why its your favorite! I just purchased the Siloam Paul Watts in a pot a couple of weeks ago. I transplanted it and it has just begun to bloom. We have a bunch of daylilies around the yard and garden but I don’t know the names of most of them, I’m sorry to say. 😦 I did order a number of them online earlier this year and planted them in an area of the front yard. I’ll be curious to see what they look like! Daylilies spread so very quickly and are so easy to grow. I like them just from a groundcover standpoint if for no other reason!
I have such a variety of different plants that I don’t have space to go overboard on having many varieties of any particular plant, so for Daylilies, I stick to one or two favorites and enjoy seeing the other varieties in other gardens. Only problem, is I am looking for Siloam’s Double Classic as I lost mine two years ago (now how is that possible to kill a daylily!) There are many thousands of hybrids so trying to find a particular one is a challenge! Hybridizers love to work with them as they are easy to cross pollinate. Still waiting for a blue one! They like colder winters which you have in Wichita Falls so I bet you do very well with them. I do enjoy your postings and beautiful garden and nature pictures so much.
They do well at this time of year but once the really hot weather hits they can look pretty sickly! There are some places online that advertise the lily you’re looking for…but they’re awfully pricy!
This is the only one blooming, and it’s only doing so because it was purchased as a potted perennial and transplanted! Our other lilies are all growing well but I haven’t noticed any buds yet. Hopefully soon.
Glad to hear it, we won’t see ours until July. I love my daylily bed, but I have long since lost most of their names. They are still just as beautiful!
Hi Anna, I notice you love and grow Daylilies. Do you grow Siloam’s Double Classic (a double peach)? That’s my favorite.

Thanks. It’s had a bad few days due to the torrential rains we’ve been having! The buds have opened but been torn away.
